Import events into your calendar via iCal

Events can be imported from the Dresden Science Calendar into your own calendar. To do so, a file with the standardized format iCal is used. Calendar programs can read and import the event from these files. Here we describe for the most popular programs which steps are necessary to add the iCal files to your calendar. Therefore please select your own program in the following menu to get directed to the relevant help page. The individual steps are described with screenshots.

Events Subscribe by RSS Feed

An RSS-Feed is able to inform you automatically as soon as event data is changed or a new event is announced. The Dresden Science Calendar server offers these RSS-Feeds for all conceivable settings of the searching filter. In addition, it limits the dates to the upcoming two weeks. The RSS-Feed can be used like an email-alert but you don't need to any user data or email address for it. Every event is shown compactly in the RSS-Feed with the most important information and offers a direct link to the complete information about this event in Dresden Science Calendar. The RSS-Feed provides the events that they always appear in the right order to their event dates in your announcement programme, nevermind in which order the events were announced and transferred. So RSS-Feeds with updated event details (e.g. another room) sort automatically next to the original announcement. In the menu below, you can find step-by-step instructions to subscribe to an RSS-Feed for selected programs.
